Alfombra Duomo, Gris Mármol

The wool has a dense, almost felted feel underfoot that I wasn't expecting at this price. The stripes are subtle enough that they read as texture from across the room rather than a pattern. Two months in with a dog and a toddler, and it's barely shed a fiber.

I was nervous ordering a rug swatch blind, but the striped pattern in this marble grey is even more refined in person. The weaving is tight and even, and the colour has a subtle depth that shifts nicely with the light.

The wool feels genuinely substantial, and that marble-grey striping catches the light in a way that makes the whole room look more put-together. I keep walking past it just to admire the texture.
