Clip de Corazón // Amapola

I was a little nervous about the sizing since my hair is thick, but at 2 inches long this clip holds a surprising amount. The handmade French craftsmanship is obvious in how smoothly the cellulose acetate snaps shut, and knowing it's guaranteed for life makes the price feel fair.

The acetate has this nice weight to it that doesn't slide out of fine toddler hair. My daughter wore it through a whole afternoon at the park and it stayed put. Two inches is bigger than I pictured, but it holds a lot of hair.

I've had this clip in my daughter's hair every day for three weeks and it hasn't lost its grip once. The poppy red is brighter in person, and I like that it's 2 inches wide — big enough for her thick hair but not sliding out. It's held up way better than the drugstore ones we used to buy.
