Me enamoré del ambiente costero de Cabo Cod. Tiene un sentimiento especial, un estado de ánimo, y quería capturarlo en película. Pasé más de una semana buscando en el Cabo esa toma majestuosa, con cuidado de evitar los destinos turísticos. Este embarcadero que se pierde en la distancia evocó una emoción especial. Coloqué mi cámara mirando directamente hacia el embarcadero y esperé horas a que se formaran las nubes adecuadas en el horizonte. Tomé cientos de imágenes y seleccioné esta cuando un rayo de sol atravesó las nubes y proyectó sombras doradas sobre el embarcadero y la hierba de abajo. Las nubes lineales convergentes realmente mejoraron la toma. Valió la pena esperar. Dorada, tranquila y mística: esta toma capturó los estados de ánimo del Atlántico que perseguía.

Bought this after a week on the Cape myself, and the moody coastal shots hit close to home. Only gripe is a couple of spreads feel like filler between the stronger images. Still, the film captures that weathered, golden-hour feeling I remember.

The Cape Cod light really comes through in these shots, especially the harbor scenes at dusk. Only reason it's not five stars is the pacing drags a bit in the middle section.
