Roble macizo, teñido oscuro, lacado

The dark stain really makes the oak grain pop instead of hiding it, which I was a little worried about before ordering. Ran my hand along the edge of the shelf and it's glass-smooth thanks to the lacquer.

The lacquered finish has a slight sheen that makes the dark stain look richer without feeling plasticky. I've got it on the knitting chairs and it wipes clean with a damp cloth, which matters with yarn and coffee around.

The dark stain really lets the oak grain show through instead of hiding it, which is exactly what I wanted for our dining space. Two months in and the lacquer still wipes clean with a damp cloth, no dulling spots yet.
