Lucy ★★★★★ Oct 22, 2026

Bought a dozen to finish with tung oil for a custom board, and the 1-1/4" size is perfect for a standard grid. They’re cleanly cut with no splinters, so the prep work was just a quick sand and seal. Exactly the blank canvas I needed.

The grain on this piece is beautifully even, and the dimensions are spot-on for standard game boards. I gave one a quick sanding and it took a walnut stain perfectly without any blotchiness. Exactly what I needed for my custom set.

These are exactly what I needed for a handmade travel set. The 1-1/4" size feels substantial in the hand, and the unfinished surface took a coat of oil beautifully without any splintering.
