16 cm empire-varjostin mandariinin aaltoina, käsin maalattu kortti

The hand painting really makes this shade feel like a tiny art piece for the room—the mottled orange looks almost alive when the light's on. Even up close, the little uneven brushstrokes read as intentional, not sloppy, and it’s exactly the kind of simple thing that makes a corner feel finished.

The warm tangerine glow through the ripples is even prettier in person than on screen, and the hand-painted finish adds such a cozy, artistic feel to my reading nook. I love how the light filters through the card, making the room feel soft and inviting.

The hand-painted mottling gives it a warmth that photographs don’t do justice to, and it casts a lovely glow across the room. Each ripple is slightly different, which makes it feel more like a small piece of art than a lampshade.
