40cm suora empire-varjostin alkuperäisessä Little Magnolia -pellavassa, GP & J Baker

The pattern is even more vibrant in person than I expected—those Chinese-inspired flowering branches really pop against the light. The 40cm empire shade sits perfectly on my floor lamp, and the linen feels substantial without being stiff. It’s exactly the statement piece my reading nook needed.

The linen’s texture is what sold me—it’s got that soft, slightly nubby feel you don’t get from cheaper shades, and the pattern’s colors are even richer in person. It throws a warm, diffused glow that makes my reading corner feel like a proper little retreat.

The flowering tree pattern feels almost like a miniature hand-painted panel when the lamp's on, catching shadows beautifully in the evening. It's brighter and more refined in person than the photos suggested, and the 40cm size is perfect for our reading corner.
