The weight is perfect—light enough to drape over a chair without sliding off, but the 98% alpaca superfine makes it feel far more luxurious than the price suggests. Every time I reach for it in the evening, that soft, textured boucle instantly makes the room cozier.
I was a little worried it would be too delicate, but it's held up beautifully on my armchair. The 98% alpaca superfine makes it crazy light yet warm enough for chilly evenings, and the boucle texture adds just the right amount of visual depth without feeling scratchy.
The texture is what got me—this boucle throw has that pillowy, dimensional weave that catches the light beautifully, yet it's featherlight on the lap. I've had mine draped on the sofa for a week and keep reaching for it even when I'm not cold, just for the softness against my skin.
