My toddler spends a good twenty minutes each morning setting up her little table with this set, one piece at a time, and the wooden eggs are just the right size for her grip. It’s become our calmest part of the day, watching her serve and re-serve breakfast before we actually eat.
The little wooden eggs and toast have that satisfying weight to them, so my daughter can actually build her whole plate without pieces sliding everywhere. She takes it very seriously, setting it all out before she "eats" each piece one by one. It's become our calmest part of the morning.
