The triangular shape makes it way easier to dig around for lip balm than a flat pouch. I've been using it as a cosmetic bag and the clear front means I can spot what I need without unzipping everything. The gingham print is cute without being loud.

Bought this to corral lip balms and hair ties in my tote, and the gingham print is even cuter in person. The zipper glides fine, though the clear front shows every scratch and smudge, so I wipe it down a lot.
