Dawn 12 Vertical | Kattovalaisin | Matthew McCormick Studio — Matthew McCormick Studio | Modern Lighting Design

The bold vertical silhouette instantly anchors my dining room, and the hand-finished surface catches the light in a way that shifts as you walk around it. It feels like a genuine sculptural piece rather than just a lamp.

It’s the first thing guests notice when they walk in—the vertical silhouette really anchors the dining room without overwhelming it. You can tell the hand-finishing gives it a depth that mass-produced fixtures just don’t have. Worth the splurge.

The hand-finished detail on this one is what sold me—you can see the craftsmanship up close, and it gives the whole room a warmer feel. It hangs beautifully in our two-story entryway and draws attention without being overpowering. Took a bit to get the height right, but worth the effort.
