The poster's soft watercolors are much more pleasant than the garish ones I was looking at, and my daughter already points to the "sad" face when her baby brother cries. It's a simple, beautiful way to start these conversations.
My toddler points to the "happy" face every morning now, and I love seeing them start to name emotions. The soft pastel colors fit perfectly with their nursery decor.
I hung this poster in our playroom and my daughter immediately started asking what each face means. The illustrations are soft and clear enough that even my toddler recognizes 'happy' and 'sad' now. It's already sparked some good conversations about her own feelings.
