You can almost feel the damp chill of that Oregon morning just looking at it, the way the mist curls around the landing gear and blurs the line between the plane and the sky. It's the kind of piece that makes you stop and stare a little longer every time you walk past it.

The way the fog softens the DC-3’s metal skin gives the print an almost dreamlike quality, capturing that quiet moment before takeoff perfectly. I’ve had it up on my wall for a week and keep noticing new details in the misty background.

That DC-3 print captures the fog and mist exactly how I remember seeing planes at small airports. The way the silver body contrasts with the grey runway really makes the image feel timeless. It's already framed and up in my den.
