Mika & Julie Tolvasen suunnittelema Koti-keraaminen linnunpönttö yhdistää modernin arkkitehtuurin ja luonnon. Nimensä suomen sanasta ”koti” saanut kolmionmuotoinen keraaminen muoto on testattu ja lintujen rakastama – pesiä palaa vuodesta toiseen.

Käsityönä Portugalissa vuonna 1979 perustetussa pienessä keramiikkapajassa valmistettu KOTI kiinnittyy helposti seinään puukilla ja nostetaan irti kausittaista puhdistusta varten. Hienovaraisesti kuvioitu sisäpinta auttaa poikasia pääsemään turvallisesti ulos, ja 11⁄4 tuuman sisääntuloaukko toivottaa tervetulleeksi monia laululintuja, kuten tali- ja pähkinänakkeli.

Huolellisesti suunniteltu, kauniisti valmistettu – moderni koti linnuille.

Huomioithan, että jokainen linnunpönttö on käsintehty, joten pienet väri- ja kokovaihtelut ovat mahdollisia.

The triangular shape looks like a tiny modern cabin hanging in my maple, and the matte ceramic has a nice weight without being heavy. It's been up through two rainstorms and still looks the same. My chickadees moved in within a week.

Bought this as a housewarming gift and ended up keeping it for my own windowsill. The triangular ceramic form is genuinely sculptural, and the matte glaze looks even better in person than in the photos. A pair of chickadees moved in within two weeks.

Hung it under the eaves three weeks ago, and a pair of wrens moved in within days—the opening feels perfectly sized for them. The matte ceramic surface sheds rain beautifully, and it’s held up through two storms without a crack. Exactly the modern-minimal accent I wanted for the garden.
