I expected the patchouli to dominate but the oakmoss keeps it creamy and almost sweet. Burning the mini size on my desk, it fills the room in about ten minutes without being overpowering.
The oakmoss really softens the patchouli here, it's earthy without being overpowering. As a mini it burns for maybe an evening or two, which is my only gripe, wish it lasted longer. Still, the scent fills my small room nicely.
The throw is softer than I hoped for a candle described as "opulent"—I had to sit pretty close to really catch the oak moss and patchouli blend. It burns cleanly and lasts a decent amount of time, but for the price, I expected more presence in the room. Nice scent, just not as bold as I expected.
