I was a little worried about leather feeling stiff out of the box, but this one's got that soft, tactile give right away. The color shifts in the light more than I expected, and the surface has this subtle unevenness that makes it look genuinely lived-in already.
The depth in the color is what sold me—every time the light hits the sofa, I notice a different tone in the leather. It’s got that rich, tactile feel that makes you want to run your hand across it, and it still looks brand new after a month of daily use.
The texture is genuinely sumptuous, and it feels far more expensive than it was. I've had it for a few weeks now and the protected leather still shows no wear, which is a relief since the kids aren't gentle. The depth of tone makes it look alive in the room.
