Alun perin nimellä Model 9 tunnettu Oda-tuoli oli alusta alkaen kunnianhimoinen muotoilu. Arnold Madsenin noin vuonna 1956 luoma nojatuolin esteettinen uudelleentulkinta on monimutkainen hevosenkengän muotoinen rakenne, jossa on integroitu niskatuki ja kauniisti sisällytetyt puiset käsinojat.
