The percale weave is crisp and gets softer with every wash, which is exactly what I wanted for warm nights. The fitted sheet has deep enough pockets to stay put on our thick mattress, and the cotton feels genuinely breathable against the skin.
I had to double-check that the elastic hem was doing its job because the sheet stayed put all night, even with my restless tossing. The cotton feels cool and breathable, and after several washes it still looks as sharp as the day it arrived.
This percale is crisp from day one, which I love, and it stays cool all night even when it's warm. The long-staple cotton feels noticeably smooth and the continuous elastic keeps it drum-tight on my deep mattress. Washing it twice so far and it's only gotten softer.
