I sliced it into shorter strips and laid them across each place setting instead of one long run—guests kept commenting on how cheerful it made the whole table. The cherry blossom pattern pops nicely against white plates and it held up fine through a full dinner without tearing.
The paper is thicker than I expected, so it didn't tear when I ran shorter pieces across between each place setting. The cherry blossom print looked sweet against plain white plates for our spring brunch.
I rolled it down the whole table for a birthday brunch and it made the setup look way more put together than my usual plain cloth. The cherry blossom print got a bunch of compliments, and I like that I can just tear off shorter strips to run across between each place setting.
