Steve McQueen, Bullitt

That shot of McQueen leaning against the car in 1968 has so much moody atmosphere, the black-and-white really makes the Mustang and his jacket pop. Frame arrived in perfect condition and looks even better on the wall than I expected.

Barry Feinstein really captured McQueen’s cool intensity in that California light; the print arrived perfectly framed and the detail on the jacket is sharp. I’ve had it up for a week now and it instantly became the focal point of my den.

The grain and contrast in this print feel like the 1968 film stock itself, and the black-and-white tones really bring out the tension in McQueen's stance. You can tell Feinstein had a friendly rapport with him, since the shot has this relaxed, candid energy that posed publicity stills never get. Gla
