Eräänä iltapäivänä kuvasin tämän australialaisen ikonin loistavaa taivaansinistä taivasta vasten. Huomattuani siluetin uskomattoman auringonvalon hohteen, päätin vaihtaa mustavalkofilmiin korostaakseni graafista, lineaarista sommitelmaa.

The azure sky behind the black silhouette makes the whole print feel almost three-dimensional on my wall. I hung it in a hallway that gets zero natural light and it still pops thanks to that sunlit sheen. Way richer in person than I expected for a paper print.

The contrast between that deep black silhouette and the azure sky is what sold me, it looks exactly like the late afternoon light I remember from the harbour. Printed larger than I expected and the paper has a nice weight to it, no glare under my kitchen lights.
