The metal feels sturdier than the cheap tins I've had before, and the deep rectangular shape actually fits a full sleeve of digestives lying flat. It's been on my counter for a month now and the pattern still makes me smile every morning.
The lid fits snugly enough that my biscuits actually stay crisp, which was my main worry with a metal tin. It's roomy enough for a full batch of shortbread, and the pattern looks even better on my counter than it did online.
This tin is way deeper than I expected, so it actually holds a full batch of homemade shortbread without crushing the edges. The metal feels sturdy and the lid sits snug, which keeps everything fresh for days.
