The venomous bite reflex warning is genuinely creepy and gives me chills every time I read it out loud to guests. I keep this on the coffee table just to watch people's faces drop when they get to the "several hours after decapitation" part. Perfectly dark and unsettling.
The nerve reflex detail is creepy but completely accurate—I tested it on a dummy and the bite pattern was still perfect hours later. The warning label is honest about how unsettling this is to watch.
My husband saw the warning label and immediately wanted to test it, which says a lot about him. The fact that a severed head can still strike with perfect aim is both horrifying and fascinating, and the write-up captures that dread exactly right.
