BEAUTÉ CLASSIQUE

The wooden board has a nice weight to it and sits flat on the table, no wobbling mid-game. We played three rounds the first night and the pieces feel solid in the hand. My only gripe is I keep losing the marbles to the couch.
The lacquer on these wooden pieces gives them a lovely smooth feel that makes moving them around the board satisfying. The board itself feels solid enough to last through years of game nights, and the slightly modern take on the classic design looks great sitting out on our coffee table.
The board has a nice weight to it that makes it feel substantial on the table, and the lacquered pieces glide into the holes with a satisfying click. It's a beautiful upgrade from the flimsy plastic sets I grew up with.
