The grind mechanism is smooth and consistent, even with coarse peppercorns. I love the comfortable grip when using it one-handed while cooking.

I've been reaching for this mill every single night since it arrived—the white ceramic body feels really substantial in my hand. The grinding mechanism is so precise that I can get a perfect coarse or fine grind on my pepper without any jamming. It's quickly become my favorite kitchen tool.
