The hemp cover has a nice nubby texture that feels way more expensive than it looks online. I keep it by the couch as a footstool and it's the perfect height, plus the noir color hides scuffs from my dog. Solid little piece, feels properly made.

The hemp cover has a nice nubby texture that feels more natural than the velvet ottomans I've owned. It's firmer than I expected, so it works great as a footstool but I wouldn't sink into it for hours. Solid build though, and the noir shade hides cat hair well.
