The saucer is what sold me — no more water rings on my oak sideboard. The clay has a nice weight to it and the color deepened after a week in the sun on my balcony.

The scalloped rim looks nice on my windowsill, but the Galestro clay is heavier than I expected for a small pot. The saucer fits well and it drains fine, though the finish has a couple of rough spots along the edge.
