The weight of these in my hand is genuinely surprising—they feel like something you'd pass down, not a novelty. The tiny Moby Dick quote etched into the barrel makes me smile every time I reach for it at my desk.

I keep one at my desk and one in my bag because they're too nice to hide away—the brass weight feels substantial in hand, and the literary quotes on the barrel make me smile every time I pick one up. The pencil writes smoothly right out of the box, no scratching at all.

The engraving on the barrel is so crisp you can almost read the tiny text without squinting, and the antique brass has a nice heft that feels substantial. I picked the Moby Dick one for my desk and it’s already my go-to for jotting notes, plus the pencil fits perfectly alongside it.
