Category: Tea Shop

The whole-leaf Orange Pekoe is so fine it brews up almost clear, with a gentle malty sweetness that’s nothing like the harsh bagged stuff. I’ve been reaching for it every afternoon since the box arrived, and the orthodox method really does show in the smooth finish.

Samuel ★★★★★

First cup this morning and I’m already impressed by how intact the orange pekoe leaves are—no dust at the bottom of the pot. The orthodox processing really comes through in a clean, steady brew that keeps its character even after a few minutes steeping. If you like African black teas with a bit of d

The fine whole leaves of this Rwanda Rukeri FOP are a joy to watch unfurl in the cup, and the flavor is surprisingly smooth for an African black tea. I've tried several orthodox-processed teas before, but this one has a subtle sweetness that's really unique. It's become my new afternoon ritual.
