Le dernier jour du Tootsies d'origine fut un jour d'hiver froid et glacial. Mon amie y était avec son groupe, alors j'ai chargé un éclairage et mes appareils photo dans mon El Camino et j'ai conduit en centre-ville pour documenter le moment. Willie et Kris sont entrés dans le bar pendant que nous étions installés, alors j'en ai pris quelques-uns debout dans mon installation, puis Willie a emprunté la guitare de Leeann et a joué « Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground ». Le bar a continué comme lieu touristique sous une nouvelle direction, mais la véritable âme avait disparu, mais pas ce jour d'hiver-là.

I was a kid in Nashville back then, so this photo of Willie and Kris at the old Tootsies brings it all right back—the cold light you mention really comes through in the print. The paper has a nice matte finish that makes the details pop without being glossy.
