David H. ★★★★★ Aug 21, 2026

I was a bit nervous about filling it the traditional way, but the twist mechanism is surprisingly smooth and holds a lot of ink. It writes with a nice, wet line that feels completely different from any modern pen I own. Definitely a keeper for my desk.

The homage to classic safety pen design really comes through in the hand-feel—it's got that vintage weight and balance you don't find in modern pens. I've been using it for daily notes and the mechanism feels solid and precise with every twist.

Finally got around to using it for a long writing session and the way the nib retracts into the barrel is honestly clever—no leaks in my pocket all day. The classic safety design feels sturdy in hand, and the black finish is understated enough for daily use.
