I’ve been adding these to stews and curries all week, and they hold their shape perfectly without turning mushy. The no-salt thing is a huge win for me since I’m watching my intake, and the 400g tins are just the right size for two meals.

The protein and fibre content make these a solid base for curries or salads, and I’ve been pleased that there’s no added salt so I can season them exactly how I want. Six cans is plenty to keep in the cupboard for quick, filling meals.

I've been looking for a no-salt-added bean that doesn't taste like cardboard, and these are it—they're soft enough to mash but still hold their shape in a stew. The protein and fiber make them a solid lunch staple without any extra sodium.
