My kitchen used to bounce sound off every surface, but this panel changed that completely. The recycled PET acoustic core is surprisingly light yet does a real job at absorbing noise. The textile print adds just the right artistic touch to the wall.
I was worried the recycled PET backing would make it feel flimsy, but it's surprisingly solid once mounted on the wall. The textile surface has a nice matte texture that doesn't glare under our kitchen lights, and it actually mutes the echo from the tile floor.
The textile print looks sharper in person than in the photos, and the muted colors fit my kitchen wall way better than I expected. It's not going to absorb much noise in a big open room, but for a small space it does take the edge off the echo.
