Tappeto Duomo, Rosso Terracotta

The wool has a dense, almost handwoven feel that doesn't shed, and the stripes are subtle enough to blend with my patterned sofa. Laid it under the coffee table and it's already softening the whole room.

The terracotta red is warmer in person than on my screen, which I was hoping for. The stripes are subtle enough that it doesn't fight with my patterned sofa, and the wool has that dense, slightly nubby feel that usually means it'll hold up.

The stripe detail in this wool rug is even more striking in person than on screen, and the terracotta shade feels warm without overpowering the room. I ordered the swatch first to check the texture, and now I'm certain about going for the full size—it's refined but still inviting underfoot.
