Coffee stays noticeably warmer on the counter now, and the glass top is so much easier to clean than the wooden knob I used before. It just sits there quietly doing its job, and I find myself reaching for it every single morning.
The fit is perfectly snug on top of the brewer, and since it's all glass, there's no weird plastic taste or residue. My coffee stays noticeably warmer for the full hour it takes me to finish a pot.
I was worried it would be too heavy or awkward, but the all-glass design is surprisingly light and it settles into the Chemex opening perfectly. My coffee stays noticeably warmer for a much longer time now that the steam isn’t escaping.
