MIDNIGHT GARDEN Velvet - Multi

The velvet has a really short, dense pile that catches light differently depending on the angle, so the pink blooms almost seem to glow against the black. I used it for a headboard and it's held its shape well after a few weeks.
I sewed this into a cushion cover and the velvet has such a rich, dense pile that it looks almost black until the light catches those pastel pinks. The Dutch Masters-inspired floral feels moody and romantic rather than cutesy, which is exactly what I wanted.
The black and pink floral pattern is even richer in person than the photos suggested, and the pastel tones really glow against that shadowy velvet background. I used it to reupholster a small reading chair and it transformed the whole corner. Drapes beautifully too, hardly any fraying when I cut it.
