スロットキャニオンの流れるような砂岩のラインは驚くべきものです。太陽がこれらの峡谷の狭い入り口から差し込むと、自然の光のショーが信じられないほどの岩層を照らし出し、影が至る所で踊ります。エンジェルズ・ハートは、長い時間をかけて流れる水によって彫り出され、まるで有名な彫刻家が手彫りしたかのような傑作を創り出しました。私はこのショットを正しい光の中で撮らなければならないと知り、その瞬間を待つために数日間待ちました。
The way the sunlight bleeds through the narrow canyon opening is captured perfectly here, those flowing sandstone curves almost look wet. It's hanging in my hallway and I keep stopping to stare at it like I'm standing in Arizona.
Hung this above our couch and the way the sandstone lines seem to flow right off the paper is wild. The light in the print actually looks like it's streaming through a narrow slot canyon, which is exactly what I wanted. Framing was easy too since it came flat and undamaged.
I framed this on my living room wall and I keep catching myself staring at it — the way the flowing sandstone lines seem to move as the light changes during the day is mesmerizing.
