The plum and date notes make this feel far richer than your typical woodsy scent—it's almost jammy at first, then the patchouli grounds it into something serious. I've gotten three compliments in one day wearing it, and the tolu balsam gives a warm, almost resinous depth that lasts well past dinner.

That opening hit of blood orange and quince is surprisingly bright before the warm, resinous patchouli and benzoin settle in. The dry down lasts a solid six hours on my skin, which is better than most of my woody scents.

I was worried the date and plum would make this too sweet, but the patchouli and tolu balsam keep it grounded and resinous. It wears close for the first hour, then the frangipani softens everything into something warm and skin-like. Been reaching for it most evenings since it arrived.
