I was a little worried the plaster-toned background might read as dull in person, but the way the cream and pink interweave gives it this soft, almost dimensional depth. The hand-painted stripe pattern is genuinely irregular up close, which makes it feel more like art than mass-produced fabric.

The plaster-toned backdrop is what sold me—it softens the pink stripes so they read as painted texture rather than loud pattern. I draped it and the fabric has a nice, slightly papery hand that holds its shape well.
