The four different dish sizes in this set cover basically everything I need day to day, from cereal in the small bowls to pasta in the mediums. They're lighter than my old stoneware but don't feel cheap, and the understated look works whether I'm eating takeout or having people over.
The semi-matte finish on these is exactly what I wanted, no shiny glare under my dining room lights. Bowls are a bit smaller than my old set, so I mostly use the medium ones for cereal. Still, four full place settings for the price feels like a solid deal.
