The pear-cut spessartite has this fiery orange glow that shifts every time I move my hand, and the tapered band makes it feel lighter on the finger than I expected. I've worn it daily for two weeks now and the double-claw bezel hasn't snagged on anything once.
That double-claw bezel really sets it apart from other solitaires I've seen — the stone sits up high enough to catch light from every side. The tapering band makes my finger look longer, and the yellow gold is warm without feeling brassy.
