I've crocheted a lot of amigurumi and this pattern is genuinely one of the clearest I've used — every ear and snout round is photographed, so I never had to guess where a stitch went. The little party hat and balloon accessories sold it for me.
The step-by-step photos made the tiny birthday hat and party accessories way less fiddly than I expected. I used a 2.5 mm hook and lightweight yarn just like the pattern says, and the piglet came out looking store-bought. My niece is going to lose her mind when she opens this.
