Blue Fog Linen Oven Mitt

My second time pulling a cast-iron skillet out of a 450-degree oven, and I never felt the heat once. The linen exterior has a soft, slightly textured feel that makes the mitt look more like a kitchen accessory than a safety tool. It's held up through three washes without shrinking or losing its shap

I was a little worried about linen being too thin, but the quilted padding gives great heat protection and a secure grip on my hot cast iron. It’s also surprisingly soft and washed well without shrinking.

The quilted padding is thick enough that I don't feel any heat when pulling out a hot casserole. It fits my hand well and the linen fabric is starting to soften up after a few washes—only wish the inside had a bit more insulation near the thumb area.
