ボブ・ウェア、ゴールデン・ゲート・パーク、サンフランシスコ、カリフォルニア州、1967年

Got this framed for my dad, who’s a huge Deadhead, and he just stared at it for a solid minute before saying anything. The way Ron Rakow caught Jerry and Bob mid-song in that open field feels so alive, like you’re right there in ’67. Print quality is crisp and the black-and-white tones really pop.

The contrast and grain in this print really bring out the energy of that 1967 Golden Gate Park show, and the detail in Garcia's guitar work is sharp without losing the vintage feel. Ron Rakow captured a moment that feels both intimate and massive, and it's become the centerpiece of my music room.

I’ve been hunting for a good shot of Jerry and Bob from that era, and this one’s got real energy—the crowd haze and the way the light catches Bob’s guitar make it feel like you’re standing in the park. The print arrived crisp and the paper has a nice matte finish that suits the black-and-white vibe.
