Hung this in my office and it's the quietest, most contemplative shot of him I've seen — you can really feel the acoustic, introspective mood of the piece. The 2017 capture feels candid rather than staged, which is exactly what I wanted.
The black-and-white printing makes every line on his face feel earned, and it looks incredible framed above my record player. Candid shot, not some staged promo pose — you can almost hear the acoustic guitar just out of frame.
The grain in the black-and-white print really brings out the emotion in his expression, almost like you can feel the quiet of that acoustic moment. I just wish the frame I bought elsewhere fit the standard size without custom ordering.
