Was worried brass would look too shiny and cheap in person, but the mechanical brushing gives it a soft matte grain that hides fingerprints way better than polished metal. Used it on a pair of side tables and the finish still looks even after a few months of daily use.
The brushed finish has this subtle texture that catches light differently depending on the angle, way nicer than polished brass which shows every fingerprint. Used it on a set of drawer pulls and the grain lines all run consistently, so they actually look like a matched set.
