The locking mechanism actually stays put on my needles, unlike the open-ring markers that kept slipping off mid-row. I used them to flag every decrease on a raglan sweater and they held tight through multiple sessions. Twenty in a pack is plenty for a big project.

I lose track of my increase rows constantly, so having 20 of these in one pack means I can leave them in a project without digging for more. They lock onto the stitch and stay put even when I shove my knitting in a bag.

Twenty markers is way more than I expected for the price, and the little clasp snaps shut tight so nothing slips off mid-row. I use them to flag my increase rounds on a baby blanket and they stay put through the whole project.
