I've crocheted a few amigurumi before but the schematics in this one were unusually clear, even for the fins. The lightweight yarn gives it a nice drape so it doesn't look stiff hanging by the window. Took me about two evenings.
The step-by-step pictures made this so easy to follow, even the schematics actually made sense to me. I used a lightweight cotton yarn and it worked up fast. Now I want to make a whole school of them.
