ハワイ島、ビッグアイランド
そう、まさにハワイの定番の夕日。でもこの夜は格別でした。森での撮影を終えて海岸へ向かう途中、大きな嵐が近づいているのを感じていました。海岸に駆け下りると、頭上で渦巻く雲に圧倒されました。広角レンズでその「渦」を捉えると、シャッターを切った数秒間、蛍光色の光が幻想的な瞬間を作り出しました。
The way the clouds seem to pulse with light really captures that moment right before the rain hits. It’s like you can feel the humidity in the air just by looking at it.
I hung this above my desk and the storm clouds against that Hawai'ian sunset look almost three-dimensional. The print quality holds up even up close, no blurring or washed-out edges.
The colors in this print are deeper and moodier than I expected for a sunset shot — that storm brewing in the background really comes through. It's a bit darker on my wall than it looked on screen, but honestly it works.
