FLORA DELANICA Velvet - Midnight

I've never seen a velvet hold detail like this — the poppies and lilies are so finely drawn they look hand-painted rather than printed. The midnight blue is deep enough to read almost black in low light, which makes the botanicals pop.

The botanical print is what sold me — those poppies and lilies look almost hand-painted against the velvet, way more detailed than I expected from a photo. It's upholstering a reading chair and the nap has a soft sheen that shifts depending on the light. Genuinely gorgeous fabric.

The midnight blue is deep and rich, and the botanical print reads more like a painting than a fabric pattern. I used it for cushion covers and the velvet feels substantial without being stiff. The poppies and lilies have a delicate, hand-drawn quality that really sets it apart.
